With drastic declines in state funding, the Maricopa County Community College District’s tuition increase seemed nearly inevitable. A new facility at Chandler-Gilbert Community College aims to offer students an athletic facility and student services building, all under one roof. The bond sales approved by voters in 2004 totaled $951 million, and have funded projects at other campuses in the Maricopa Community Colleges.
